I have installed a transducer kit from Julio to log fuel pressure via PowerLogger,I have the orange signal wire connected to port#4 on the PowerLogger analog block and I am not getting any readings.How do I get this to work?Thanks,ikle.

What do you have selected for the analog 4 input on the F3 page of PLC?

Does the transducer have power?

Who makes the transducer? pics?

TurboDave,I selected pressure 100psi and also selected pressure 100psi-B in the analog box on port #4 with no change,I don't know if it makes any difference but Julio said the transducer is 150psi not 100psi,I am also running PLC version 1.3.3.Tomorrow I will be testing to see if I have power,ground and how many volts I have coming from the signal wire,so I can rule out having bad wire or a bad transducer.I was hoping I was missing something when configuring the transducer to the PowerLogger or maybe theres a updated PLC verision for Windows 7,what do you think.Thanks,ikle.

Norbs,There is no name on the transducer itself,Razor sells this kit so I know its top notch.Going to test for power,ground and volts coming from the signal wire tomorrow.The only thing I know is that it is a 150psi transducer and that the signal wire should have .5 volts = 0psi and 4.5 volts =150psi.I was hoping that I missed something when configuring the transducer to my PowerLogger.Thanks,ikle.

I had the same issue with mine. Have you entered the sensor info in the ini file yet? Basically you wont select 100 psi a or b from that drop down menu. You will select the name you entered as "CustomAnalog4Name" in the ini file.

In case you haven't filled out the ini file, copy and paste this into that section. You can use your own names in the top 3 entries.

[CustomAnalog4]
CustomAnalog4Name=AlkyPressure
CustomAnalog4LongName=Alcohol Injection Pressure
CustomAnalog4Tag=ALKY
CustomAnalog4GaugeMin=0
CustomAnalog4GaugeMax=150
CustomAnalog4GraphMin=0
CustomAnalog4GraphMax=150
CustomAnalog4MinValue=0
CustomAnalog4MaxValue=150
CustomAnalog4MinVolt=0.5
CustomAnalog4MaxVolt=4.5

Help Please

Update,I updated my PowerLogger to 1.3.26 which I think is the latest version for Windows 7,then I renamed the first three lines in the CustomAnalog4 in the ini file of the PowerLogger software to TransducerFuelPressure,Fuel Pressure and Fuel then saved it.I then opened up the PowerLogger program went to F3 page clicked on the TransducerFuelPressure in analog4 box and started my car.Still a flat line with 0.0 volts,I then unhooked the signal wire from the PowerLogger analog block and with key on engine off I had 1.6 volts .Does any one know whats going on :confused: I am pulling my hair out here.Thanks,ikle.:frown:

How many wires are on the transducer????????????:confused:

Norbs,The transducer kit I have is from Razor,it has 3 wires.The kit comes with a wire harness that plugs into the TPS then 2 wires from there plug into the transducer,thats where it gets it 5 volt power supply and ground from and the third wire is a signal wire that goes from the transducer to the analog block of the PowerLogger.Thanks for your help,ikle.
