I noticed Transgo's shift kit has dual feed for directs now and comes with billet servo. Has anyone used one yet?

I looked this up and saw this also. I'm interested in what others have to say about it since I'm trying to figure out what would be best to prolong the life of my stock transmission.

i have used this kit, works well with CK spacer plate, along with my other mods, used in N/A applications. i don't use in turbo apps, i prefer CK springs, but over all it works well with the right mods.

This is the kit I had originally installed in my last trans. It worked very well. the 1-2 shift was a bit harsh at light throttle, the 2-3 was very fast and crisp. under heavy throttle the 1-2 seemed to lose a bit of the harshness and worked very well, the 2-3 was lightning fast and positive. If it weren't for my low roller clutch flaking off some friction material causing my boost valve to stick which caused a second gear flare I think my trans would have kept on going and going. When I had done the transgo it was a fresh rebuild with ck's billet forward drum and some other hardened parts. My directs had shown no sign of wear, heat or slippage with this kit.

Since then I have rebuilt the trans with a dual feed mod and ck's kit. It works as Chris has described on his site. I'm not sure how transgo dual feeds the direct with their kit, my builder blocked a hole in the valve body, removed a seal and did something else which I can't recall right now.

Considering it for my sons 69 Firebird. Mild Pontiac 400 wer'e rebuilding together.

Direct clutches don't seem to live very long with the Transgo kit. Don't know the part number but it's the one with three stacked separator plates. I don't know if it cross leaks or what but every unit I have pulled apart with that kit (30 plus units) direct clutch was toast.
