I looked at my translator trying to figure out my tip in stumble. I have a version 1.2 on the board inside and 2.3 on the cover. Do I need to upgrade my translator?

It is set at 2 which should be 10% lean on a 3.5 sensor. I called Quad Air today to ask them about it and he said to try a stock MAF. Said they have trouble calibrating chips perfectly for the translator.

My BLM are at 90 at idle closed loop and very low at cruise. Is this the MAF or is the chip rich? Any Ideas?

If you've tried all three settings and can't get the BLM's up any higher, I'd guess there's an issue with the chip. Quad Air's chips tend to run fat anyway, that's well documented. Their response doesn't surprise me any. Anything they have problems with, they seem to turn away on. Sort like the MSD 50's. Well known fact they're one of the easiest injectors to tune to, have perfect street manners, no downsides. BUT, talk to quad air, and they absolutely wont touch them. Wont even make you chip for them

Anyway, might want to try another chip and see how that goes

Thanks. The guy I talked to seemed pretty helpful so I may try getting a stock MAF and see how that goes. I didn't have a problem before this though.

Worse case scenario I'll send the chip back and get it redone.

You know... I have heard that alot in doing a search. Hmmm... Thanks.

Who else makes good chips? I had a JC chip before and never had any trouble. I went with Red because he did the driver mod for the inj. Any other opinions?

Since you have the Translator already you really ought to try an Extender chip from Turbo Bob. Call Ramchargers at 1-888-293-7267 and ask for Kevin, he will get ya hooked up.

P.S.- Kevin, if you are reading this, I better have my Translator version upgrade chip very soon. :)
