Transmission cooler needed ?

I have a stock 87 and was wondering if there any benefit putting a remote transmission cooler on ???? Over kill? Any input is much appreciated.

Doesn't hurt to run a external as well as running the stock cooler. Overkill? Imop no. Heat kills tarnsmissions

YEP!!

especially if you live in a hotter climate, its doubtful you could over cool a transmission,
and if you drive aggressively, you really do need one!
