transmission recommendation help!!

hey guys,

not too much a car geek but i need help or opinion on a new tranny. i currently running a th400 in my gn and its starting to slip. its a stock hughes 400. not going back to a 2004r. i burnt 4 of them out from four different companies plus i really dont need the overdrive. im putting down 425 hp to the wheel with 413 ft torque. i want a 400 that will hold this power and something that is streetable and im leaning towars a Monster th400. has anyone delt with Monster or could give me some recommidations of a tranny that gonna hold the power. looking to spend around 2 grand including stall. any ionfo is appreciated thanks!

Location? I am sure there is someone local to you that can build a th400.

just bought a th400 from CK. will update this thread when the tranny is installed and im driving it. hopefully the tranny will arrive next week, they say its in stock.

how much doss it cost to ship a trans say 2004r? anybody know?
