I have a 1984 Buick Regal Grand National and the SPID sheet, as well as the metal plate below the windshield show 60H as the trim code. It is described in all documentation as Brandon Sand Gray and on some web sites as light sand gray. It really looks like a cream colour to me, but hey that’s just me. I bought a spray bomb based on this info years ago and it was a perfect match. I went to a paint shop here in Naples Fla and the guys simply said he couldn't find it in his database. Anybody be of help to me.

Am looking to buy a couple of aerosol spray cans. I am going to contact SEM as well.

Phil's 84 - bone stock and proud of it.

Hi Phil.
Try this. Let us know what you end up with.

You know I just love nostalgia and the depth of knowledge exhibited here. I am the second owner of my 1984 and I know it was bone stock when i bought it. I only know of one other 84 in Ottawa Canada from back in the day and both our cars' interiors are exactly like 84GNGary.

What a fantastic read this was.

No one mentioned Brandon Sand Gray which is how GM described the color in it's " Fastest thing this side of a banked oval" brochure. Nice to confirm everything else tho' - 60H on my trunk SPID and 60H on the under hood tin plate.

Hopefully I get what I need and then I will add all the info to what has already been posted in the thread you sent me.

Thanks again Jerryl

I got a spray can from gbodyparts when i bought a new 3 gauge cluster for my A-Pillar. It was spot on with my OEM colors. I also have an '84 with the Lear interior.

Here is my 84 interior with the GBP interior paint. I refinished ALL panels with it. Sand Grey, and the Slate Grey for the dash, and kicks. I also went different and did my lower console in the slate.

I have been going back and forth with Brian @ GBODY and am about to order, but I am still a little nervous as to which to order. Number 1595 looks to be correct (SC25230)

Any suggestions?

Phil

Just order the sand grey paint from gbp, it is correct. Did you see my pictures above?

This is their only color that even has the word "sand" in it
I hate to spend $60 and find it is light grey and not Brandon sand Grey. I might just have to bite the bullet and chalk it up to experience if it is the wrong color.

GBP has the correct colors, you wont be disappointed. I just got my dash paint in the mail yesterday, but have no time to do anything rite now.

Toby your car looks very clean, the outcome is fantastic from when i last saw it in person. Its like night and day difference, you did a great job bringing it back.

Thanks guys - I am going to order today - Toby your car looks great. We have to keep our cars looking cool since there are so few out there. I went to the Mid Florida Grand National clubs meet in Kissimmee Florida two years ago and there were 54 GNs and only one 84 - mine.

Thanks again
Phil
