Trust Issue

just my two cents.

when someone buys something from you (being shipped) cause most of us live far from you , what is expected..

for starters immediate shipping.

i am not here to diss on any particular person but in the last 2 months
ive bought items from members on this forum and they for one reason or another taken upto 4 yes FOUR weeks to send the items to me.

Please be advised that sellers are requesting payment made on an immediate basis but then lack the resposibility to ship items out.

I buy on trust basis. Hope that you will send what I buy in the same manner i make the payment. I trust you to comply with your side of deal asap.
there is no reason for the delay.

this forum is very good and most of the members are very responsible for their dealings.

please keep it that way

ship same day or next biz day . just for the record .. i hate waiting to .. and for the most part when i need something its needed right away . so i agree also.. sitting on parts someone payed for. sucks for the person waiting .. show me a paypal payment. ill show you a tracking number the same day ..

I hate dealing with roundtoit shippers too.They ship the parts when they get a roundtoit.

Sorry if I'm hijacking but, what kills me is when someone commits to buying your item and promises to send payment and payment never shows, you email them and they'll either NOT respond or they found another part for $3 cheaper. I shouldn't have to chase people down after they commit to purchasing an item! It's a hassle sometimes to get a shipping quote (boxed and sealed) only to find that they don't want it anymore.

I agree, I tried to help out a fellow member who posted in the wanted section they needed a part asap. I responded with a price shipped priority making only 25 bucks on this part. Went out and removed it took pics and emailed them to them, not even a courtesy response saying they dont want it, nothing. I try to help people on here as i am parting out cars, but it is much easier and profitable to just sell local or ebay.

I use USPS priority when cost effective. This way it arrives quickly.

Also, when those like myself and others who buy things and use them or go a different route stay around here to support fellow TR enthusiast by reselling at fair/lower than ebay/craigslist prices go out of their way with a busy long work schedules to hunt the cheapest shipper, hustle up boxes, packing materials, making time to pack and load up larger items, etc. for free get $crewed over. Not a lot of people but some will take your kindness for weakness and bend you over a barrel. They will nit pick the item to death to justify why they won't pay you for shipping knowing they got a good deal but choose to cut your throat to save a dollar for themselves. It goes both ways. Tired of hearing about how bad the economy is then look in someones signature then see they have ball bearing turbos, billet everything, 8 cars, go on 10 vacations a year and see they are out to bone those who are barely hanging on by a thread to stay in this hobby.

I have bought and sold a few parts, and i think the problem is communication

I have had times where i have sold parts received payment at night and then not made it to work/warehouse where parts are at for one reason or another, but i alway contact buyer and advise, never had a problem.

I think if seller would just let buyer know hey i cant ship your part for a day, week, month due to weather, tornado what ever most people won't have a problem.
