TT 6.1 chip and taller tires

I switched over 295/55/15 MT tires from 26 in., taller tire just wondering if ok to run without changing the speed gears, i'm running 20 lb in them and they measure just over 27 in. tall,my speed difference seems pretty high when over 60 mph. I used gps and friends car next to me his car reads same as gps did, speeds as follows

powerlogger @ 40 mph -gps @ 44 mph
50 mph -gps @ 55 mph
60 mph - gps @ 68 mph
70 mph - gps @ 78 mph
80 mph - gps @90 mph
90 mph - gps @ 100 mph
100 mph - will check
all stock rear and tranny rebuilt,any feedback i would appreciate it thanks
