TTA header & ARP head bolt clearance...

I know that when using ARP head bolts w/washers you need to clearance the header flange some...just wondering how much? And yes you still need to do it even with the 12-point heads as well :frown: Looks like 3 spots on each header...do you need to notch the flange or just bevel the outside edge so that the flange will slip down behind the head bolt? No I'm not taking the head bolts back off and removing the washers...would prefer to keep them in place. I anyone has pic's of what they had to remove please post as that would really help

I just notched the flange (as you say in 3 places), can't remember how much but maybe 2 millimeters deep roughly. I just did a bit, tried them on and did a bit more until they fell in place properly. So a bit trial and error but did not take me too long doing it that way.
