TTA Test pipe - stock set-up

Where can they get one, and, will there be a performance difference?

N I C E! I had the same idea for my car. I was mainly thinking about maintaining a stock appearance for shows. I was just going to weld a pair of heat shields to the pipe, but I like your idea better.

Yeah, these people are true TransAm collectors.
They own 5 of them, all Auto Rama Quality. (20th, 25th, 79, etc)
Oh ........ the TTA took second place at Autorama.

Interesting thing is that they purchased the TTA a few months ago, already have more kills under their belt than all the others cars.
Its real funny, becasue they are collectors, and not at all into performance.
But, "Boost is a drug", so they tried it, and LOVE it.

So, I advised them to install a test pipe in place of the brand new cat, which does not require any mods that would prevent from turning the car back to stock, etc.

Car has AFPR, Blue tops, Trasher, PP
Otherwise it’s stock.

The car came from FLA, purchased at a dealer about 3-4 months ago, and drove it to TX.
Looking for some info/history on the car.
PM me if you know about the car.
Heck, I figured "TTA and FLA" .......... you MUST know something about this car. Has around 35K miles (I think ..............)
The ECM was modified for DS I am sure, and I keep telling them this car did 35K miles, 1/4 mile at a time.
Runs good though and passed emissions with TT emissions chip.
