i just installed a precision ta60 ith 42.5 lb injectors a procomp 2 5/8 boost gauge and a scanmaster. i have a terry houston 3" dp w/cutout open. does any one have good advice an tuning with the scanmaster. i am showing a code 45. my stock boost gauge is reading 4 bars at idle(no reading on the procomp). the o2 sensor never gave me trouble before the upgrades.im running 38 lbs of fuel at static idle. retard goes crazy before i get to wot. where should i start?
 
What is the boost going up to when the retard starts? You may have to lower it until it stops retarding the timing...
 
boost is going up to 15-16 #. what about my stock boost gauge reading a constant 4# at idle? never did it before the mods
 
For the timing retard issue I would talk to Don or someone at Precision, they could probably help you troubleshoot that better. For the boost gauge, I would check the vaccum at idle with a vaccum gauge and then if that looks good send then I would suspect the sensor for the factory boost gauge. I really don't see how you could have boost at idle though, must be the sensor...
 
I only have a boost gauge. if i got a vacuum gauge what should it read at idle?
