From a Level 10 build up, suggests leaving the 3 rd sealing ring off the center support to help speed and intensify the 2-3 shift. Any input on this mod The transmission will have a stock VB with a Transgo shift kit. Pump is in the trans now but having second thoughts about having left the ring off the support::frown: Thanks!

im no 400 expert but it sounds like you are dual feeding the 2-3 shift setup. There is a passage in the separator plate that has to be blocked i believe. Its a good modification on almost any transmission. Good luck.

you will also have to remove the the inner rubber seal on the direct drum. this is seal that goes on the drum and not on the piston.
