what is the best after market shifter for a reverse manual vavle body , I just installed my 400 can I use my stock drive shaft and just change yokes.

Tranny dimensions. Looks like the TH400 is almost .70" longer than your 200-4R. Be carefull because you don't want to bottom out the yoke.

Greg is right about the drive shaft. Be careful.

I used the B&M Mega Shifter. With a little work it will fit in the stock counsil (sp) I believe Nick Micale posted some pictures and instructions on how to do this.

I used the cheetah scs on my 400. but it was in my 78 monte. great shifter i really liked it

Hurst Quarter Stick.

Whether or not you can just swap yokes depends on which yoke you use, and how close it comes to bottoming out as your suspension moves.

I used same driveshaft when I had a 400 in my car for short time

The tranny was a lil longer but the yoke I have when in about an inch farther before botoming out so I ended up with a lil more room before bottoming out with the 400
