turbo 700 conversion shifting to low rpm

Put a 700 in my car it is fresh with a vette pump and servo. The car shift really low and the kickdown cable is set wright. How can the shift point be raised an also want harder shifts. thankyou Mike

You could try a Vette Governor. If the 700R4 Trans came from a vehicle with numerically low ratio rear gears and your vehicle has a numerically higher ratio gears, it will shift very early. Governors & Valve Bodies are tuned to the rear gear that came in the vehicle.
A Governor recalibration kit may be needed to tune your shift points.

Harder shifts are not necessarily better. You want the fastest shift possible without binding. Hard tends to break things or wear them out faster. Faster lessens the heat buildup during apply. I would do as suggested by SS and get a gov calibration kit. If the wrong calibration springs are in the accumulators for that servo application, it may shift soft. You would need stiffer springs to stiffen up the "cushion" of the accumulator. A good valvebody kit for what your intentions are is also recommended.
