Turbo Action Cheetah shifter - forward or rear cable?

For those that are running the Turbo Action Cheetah SCS shifter for the TH400, does the cable come out the front or the back? Which is the better and/or easier one to install?

comes out the back.

Rear exit. And yes its a pain but once done works very nice.

If you guys had to do it over again, would you buy front or rear exit? What's the best way to gom and why?

Everyone who has responded to this question on this board and the other say they are running the rear cable model. They all say it is a pain to set up.

WHY?

Should I get the front cable model instead?
