Turbo advice ?

What is the biggest turbo (non BB) than can be run on a 231 with a Vigilante "0" pump and still be a decent driver?

TE45a ? (what trim)?

70 GTQ?

What is meant by "biggest"? I am not asking to be an ass, but everyone has their threshold of how much boost lag they can handle. I would think that the TE45A would spool a little slow with the 0 pump. John said that the 3000 stall is the BARE minimum with his TE45a. 3500 would be a MUCH better choice. Stall is our friend!!

From what I have heard from other board members, the TE45A with a Q trim needs the 6 pump on a vigilante. It sound like this is still a nice driver with this combo. Very minimal lag.

Is your TE45A a (Q) trim ? Does the convertor feel tight normal driving? Thanks
