Turbo help

I got a stock 87 that has a 3in down pipe 4in intake 60ib inj with stealth 340lph fuel pump and regulator and chip I was looking at te 62 or te60 with a 12"brawler 2800-3000 stall would the te62 be a good setup what do u think iv heard issues

That's a decent street combo, both turbo's are good, but id look into a different converter for those turbos imo 10" or even 9.5", list what you wanna do with the car as far as goals and someone can help you better with a converter selection.

Years ago going from a 12" red stripe to a 9.5" vigilante the car felt more then a second faster with no other changes..

I mean I found that torque converter from agressive performance for under 400 is there any other cheaper converters that you know of that are 10 or 9.4 that are good in these cars im looking to at least make my car a 10 sec car or lower its a street car but i like to mess around and race cars around town

Unfortunately their are no great cheap converters.. your not gonna get a 10 sec time slip out of a cheap converter ,not saying you gotta spend a grand but.., give dusty a call at PTC he can spec one for you at a reasonable price
