turbo ID needed

I bought an 87 T Type Limited recently and the turbo in the trunk was told to me to be a mag 5 or a magnum 5 or level 5 or some such stuff that I cannot remember. Has anybody heard of a turbo with a name that is close to what I have just written? It supposedly cost around $2,300.

The only things I can think of that are called magnums are guns and condoms. Turbos not included. If it's worth $2300 tell the bullchitter that told you that you will give him a deal and sell it to him for $1900.

Turbonetics use to name their turbos in stages, could be a stage 5.

That sure could be it. Do you or does anyone else know anything about a stage 5 turbonetics turbo?
