hey guys,
I recently sent my turbo out to get serviced it was a brand new PTE GT67 turbo and it started smoking (white) through the exhaut and more I drove it, it got to a point where it would smoke constantly so I could no longer drive it on the street.
One thing I noticed right after I started the car in the morning and looked under my hood and I could see oil dripping out of the exhaust side of the turbo where the downpipe meets and header meets.
my question is I removed the intake and grabbed the wheel and it has a noticeable only in/out shaft play i could make noise with it... would this be a bad turbo? or could it be another problem?
like valve stem seals? because I did replace them along with new valve springs right after i installed the turbo.
thanks,
-John
