hey guys,
I recently sent my turbo out to get serviced it was a brand new PTE GT67 turbo and it started smoking (white) through the exhaut and more I drove it, it got to a point where it would smoke constantly so I could no longer drive it on the street.
One thing I noticed right after I started the car in the morning and looked under my hood and I could see oil dripping out of the exhaust side of the turbo where the downpipe meets and header meets.

my question is I removed the intake and grabbed the wheel and it has a noticeable only in/out shaft play i could make noise with it... would this be a bad turbo? or could it be another problem?
like valve stem seals? because I did replace them along with new valve springs right after i installed the turbo.

thanks,
-John

it sounds like your turbo seal ahs gone bad...is oil in your intake pipes too? My exhaust seal is going out as well. By noise, do you mean you are hitting the blades on the housing?

basically i can hear it hit the housing when i pull in and out .... or it hits something in the center thats keeping it from going further in and out...
