Turbo inlet pipe gasket

Ok I got a new Turbo inlet pipe from Postons. Was installing it with the old ceramic type gasket that connects it to the turbo. Well I cracked that gasket. Now Poston tells me that I can't use that gasket anyway, and that I might have to make-shift a gasket to close any gaps, and that they don't make the old ceramic type gasket. Whats with that???

if its the ATR pipe go get some copper RTV and a copper gasket, youll seal great
