I was told after trying numerous gaskets and RTV that you needed to special order a gasket to get a good seal. I am still waiting for it to arrive so I decided to try one more thing! I bought another roll of gasket material from Autozone on a roll for 4.99. The first roll of paper gasket failed miserably so this time I bought the Felpro, oil/water blue gasket roll. I cut out a piece, made screw and center holes. Works perfectly! No leaks now at all. Much cheaper in long run. Just wanted to pass that on.

File the surface flat and use loc-tite 518. No gasket. I've used this the last 5 years and have zero leakage. Nothing will seal better than 518 on two flat oil free surfaces. I swapped turbos 5 times in one day and never had a leak.

Wow, even better tip! Thanks

Have you ever tried "The Right Stuff" to seal it w/o gasket?

Nix
