Where can I get a braided SS hose to replace the stock line? I put a 62 turbo on my car and the return line is too short. It BARELY fit. Would like a little slack.

I doubt you will gain anything by using a braided line.
I actually think they are a tick shorter and harder to install, with bolts.
If you can go with studs into the turbo and then it makes the drain much easier to install over the stud.
Premeasure the thing and only have the studs stick out about 3 threads past the nut you will be using. Makes it easier to get the flange over the studs that way.
What size studs do you use? I just ordered a braided line from johnsperformance. Getting the flange onto the turbo can be a bitch, seems that studs would help a lot.
It leaks 5 litre? Doh. Maybe it's the gasket. I have never had good luck with those white ones. I like the black rubbery ones like Mike Licht has for $3.00.
Al, it's a good thing I have the headers, downpipe, and turbo off.
off topic - My oil return line broke because I didn't have a bracket on my turbo, I got the oem ribbed style one for 65 =o, I was in a pinch! Someone told me the braided line is easier to break? Someone correct me if I am wrong...
Note that larger turbos use a center section that has a larger tapped hole for the two holes for the oil return flange. Use a tap to determine correct size, test install the oil return line to determine the correct length of the studs, cut the studs to length and install with red loctite.
I'm going the "do it yourself" route. I purchased the plate that bolts to bottom of turbo from John Craig. It has 1/2" NPT female connector on the bottom. I have an Aeroquip 1/2" NPT male to -10 male fitting for the "turbo" end of the line.
My problem is the "engine" end of the line. What is thread spec for the engine side of the oil return line? Should I take the "adaptor" that screws into the block off?
