It's about that time of year... some of you guys should be looking to sell your old turbos as you upgrade over the winter.

I'm constantly changing my mind about dishing out the money for a 6776bb turbo ($1200) since I barely drive my car, so I want to see what I can get for cheaper. If I spend any more than $750-800 then I might as well suck it up and get the 67, so that's my limit.

Only things that matter about the turbo...
-In decent condition, low mileage is good
-In my specified price range
-Good match for my Pat's 3200-3400 converter

Let me know. PM me if you prefer. Please give as many details as possible, size of inlet/outlet, etc.

I might be getting rid of my LT-70 I have I'll check the the compressor inlet size and discharge size. But it has a 85 housing on it and think your converter might be a little tight for it but you could pry find a 63 housing and might work pretty good.

You MIGHT be able to get away with a NEW standard journal GT6776E. Phone Mike at Full Throttle and ask if it will work with your combo. Mike has a 10% off sale on through Dec 31st...and free shipping. Just a thought.

Just spoke to mike about this yesterday actually..

Said to get a 6152 standard journal turbo for a 3200 stall, will take the car all the way to mid to high 10s with supporting mods...

Says it spools better and is more fun than the 6776 unless you plan on running low 10s or slightly better...

Brand New is $740 right now with the holiday special going on... I think he said free shipping too!

Dont quote me on the price, but its damn close to it, if not exact.

I have the same turbo...GT6152E...with a 3400 LU convertor. I have SEVERE traction issues with MT DR's.

so the 3200 would be PERFECT! (not that traction issues are bad =)

I talked to none other than Patrick (RUQWKNF) about my combination BEFORE I purchased the turbo and convertor. His recommendation was a 3400 convertor.

Thanks for the info guys. I had been considering that a brand new standard bearing turbo would also fall in my price range. I was actually looking at the 6152 yesterday. I'd have no problem buying from Mike, I love FullThrottle.

I just keep changing my mind about what I want. When I make a big purchase I usually go by the idea "it's not like you buy one of these every week", so I was going to go all-out and get the turbo done with instead of cheaping out and regretting it. But a $1300 turbo (6776) plus the cost of decent supporting mods is not cheap, especially with the way my dealership is slowing down for the winter and I'm getting smaller paychecks.

I'll have to give the 6152 some thought.

I have a unused new PTE-54 turbo from precision-never ran it,with a precision .85 exhaust housing and a polished compressor housing-i paid over $850. from precision will take $750 shipped- it just has alittle surface rust on exhaust housing from sitting in my garage while i was getting my motor together.
