Turbo Question

Hello, can I buy a rebuilding kit and rebuild my own turbo? Or would I have to take it to a specialist? Also is there a rebuilding kit I can buy, and if so where would I find it. Thanks in advance.

Most likely the best solution would be to buy a center section that is rebuilt for about $200-$250 and swap your housings onto it.

Rebuild kit is about $80 or so and can be done also if you feel up to it. I think the procedure is available over at gnttype.org.

I think Kirban used to sell the rebuilt center sections, if not try Postons, or Agressive Perf., or Johns Perform.
