turbo questions

hey all, im new to this game and have some questions about the turbo on my 78 regal.

1. what is a good upgrade
2. where is a good place to buy new/used
3. what do the numbers mean such as PT/53, im use to something like T25,T3/T4, To4E.


thats all i can think of as of now, but im sure i will have more.

78-83 car are stuck with the turbo we have. You can have your turbo hogged out. (enlarged with bigger fins) I think the turbo is T3033

Turbocharger specialists
This company can do it, but I've only talked to him on the phone. I have done work with him yet.

If you hog out the turbo you should think about increasing the stall on the TC.
