I have a bad oil seal in my hotair turbo. Who can rebuild this or can I get the parts needed and do it my self? How hard is it?

Thanks,
Steve

The closest is Precision in Hebron Ind. They do a good job based on my experience. Brad

Rebiulding it yourself isn't hard. G-Pop shop sells a rebuild kit for about $100. Includes bearings, oil seal (4 piece carbon seal), o-ring, etc. Just make sure you index the compressor blade on the shaft so you don't throw off the balance. Take your time, and it's fairly easy. I did my stocker for the 85 and have had no problems. HTH ---Keith

Keith has been around the block a few times on this. It really is easy and if you want to a look at what's involved click on the second link in my sig. It will give you a look at all the parts involved. It isn't rocket science but you do need to mark the relation between the exhaust (exducer) wheel and the intake (inducer) wheel so it won't be out of balance.
