Many of us have donated parts and money for this give-away. I am astounded by many peoples time and generosity but.....................

THIS CAR IS SCREAMING FOR SOME GNX OR STOCK 86/87 GN RIMS. I WILL SEND MONEY TO HELP PAY FOR RECHROMING IF SOMEONE DONATES A SET OF OLD RIMS. SOMEONE HAS TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE!!!!

and if a parts supplier donates some rims I promise to use you for my GN parts as will many others!

I have an extra pair that I'd donate, but they need total restoration (chrome, black paint and probably a ding or two taken out of them). If you're interested let me know and I'll have them shipped.

Just a point of clarification - I'm talking about stock 86/87 rims here. Not GNX-style rims. Didn't want to mislead with the black paint comment.

Brian donated the star wheels on it and the are part of the car guys. GNX style rims would look awesome on the car but getting someone to part with a full set would be rough. I had 2, looked for 2 more for a LONG time and I finally just gave up and sold the 2 I did have. Daniel Ray

If some one wants to donate GNX rims we will take care of getting them re-done.
I would just hate to add more weight to this light weight factory car.

The GN rims are heavy. Why do you think I'm trying to give them away? :)

I really thought there was a need for them. If not I'm going to continue to use them for holding my basement floor down.

Like I said, I like the car with the Dragstars on it. IMO you should leave it that way. If you go back to stock-ish rims you'll have to goof around with new studs or lug nuts.
