Buick History

The way it is written, WE4 Turbo "T" means to me it is a "T" that has a turbo and the WE4 package, so any 87 Regal with a turbo is a Turbo "T", no?
It's all in where they put the quotations! (yes, I know all WE4's were turbo);)

Question..I thought I had read this before on here many years ago, but can't find any reference to it now...but could you get the LC2 option without getting the "buldge" hood?? I had read before that was the ultimate sleeper TR...but cannot find that info any where now.

The turbo hood was RPO T47. It was a forced code when the box for the LC2 motor was ordered. Just like the Y56 option. No turbos with flat hoods and no NA motors with turbo hoods in other words. Really if that was the case than there would have been a boat load of flat hooded TRs cruising the streets. Another myth just like the special paint that Kirban says you could have ordered.

Another place the the Buick Literature differentiates the turbo and turbo T packages. Scroll down a bit, it is high lighted.

So does all this mean I have to change my screenname and sig?

How do you determine if your Turbo T "oops" I mean Turbo regal is a limited?
(When I bought my car it was debadged)

I see what you are saying, what I was trying to say is, all 87 turbo regals had the "T" suspension, so they would be turbo "T"s, a WE4 is a "Turbo T".

They are all great cars, I am just trying to make a simplified way of clearing the confusion. T-Types, GN's as long as there is a bump in the hood they are alright with me!

Interior. Does it say Limited on the dash and have the lighted surround on the passenger side? Is it a leather interior? Does it have the plush velour pillow type seats?
Does it have the coffin style door pulls?

My friends refer to my GN as Grand International

I don't get it, but I don't correct them or show an expression...

hey still got your Grand INTERnational.... nope, sold it to a farmer

but I still got my Grand National, people only know if they really know what it is...
