Looking to upgrade from my TA-60 to possibly an HPT or Precision. Car is Street only - with a potential to run up.and down the track a few times a year.

Precision newest next gen 6062, pretty bad ass street turbo on a 3.8L, it's nice in my 2.0L so I can't imagine on my GN. HPT similar sized can't go wrong, go too big on the turbo and you might not like the response for normal street hits or light launches.

Yeah, after I posted this - I saw post about the Precision Models. Not looking to break necks, but a little more umph here and there!

Ya I think Spool can get them in a Buick housing with the puck hole. The CTXR 58/58 on a slightly moded GN would be plenty for the street to bring a smile every hit. It's not 1995 anymore, these small turbos are flowing big air.

I can spec them in any configuration and size.
At this point I would rather just do ctrx triple bb hubless.
The hubless spooling and flow capabilities are just incredible.
From the initial light up throughout the curve is special.

I ran a 5857 for 10 years on the street and strip best 10.8 but it was a solid 11.5 and good street turbo.
I have moved to a 6062 it is a lot of turbo but has very good street manners.
Ill be taking it to the track this weekend

The comp lineup is now in ctrx hubless only and the pricing has come down to reflect that in the air and oil cooled turbo.
The hubless are now alot more accessible.
With this technology I would caution anybody on a turbo Buick 3.8 to want a smaller mm compressor and turbine wheel combination.
We have the backpressure and spool times on these motors with a few different converters and computer systems at this point.
