What Is The Most Things I Can Do To My Gn To Lghten It Up.i Currently Have A Fiberglass Fr Bumper, hood, aluminum Heads, wheels,AND FRONT SKINNY DRAGS!

a few more...

-aluminum brake drums
-aluminum rear bumper support and mounts (to replace the bumper shocks)
-remove insulation from under carpet
-remove front anti-sway bar

Not sure bout the individual weight savings there but you can probably find a list somewhere on the Web.

Depending on how far you want to go you can also:

-replace your glass headlights with plastic ones
-convert to manual windows/locks
-remove your A/C & heater
-remove underhood insulation (which you've probably already done)
-fiberglass rear bumper
-fiberglass trunk lid
-remove rear seat
-replace your radiator with an aluminum one
-convert to manual steering with an S-10 steering box
-drill lots of little holes in things (swiss cheese approach)

Oh, and don't forget about rotating weight...

It can have a more dramatic effect than dead weight.

-aluminum underdrive pulleys
-10" torque converter
-aluminum driveshaft
-trick 3-speed auto trans with lightweight internals (NHRA stocker-style)

And you can really go radical, and swap your iron block out for an aluminum block. ;)

THANKS A BUNCH MEAN BUICK, AND TURBO DAVE. THE CAR IS RUNNING AT61, RACE PORTED ALUMINUM HEADS,218/218 CAM ESP FRONT MOUNT TH 3" DOWNPIPE, SINGLE 3" EXHAUST,RAZOR ALKY KIT.92 OCTANE 25LBS BOOST, 10.85@122mph, daily driver, very streetable decent gas mileage, goal is 10.40 pumpgas, without adding power, to attain streetability, and mileage!

I just got done swapping my rear bumper support. The steel one weighs 33.5 pounds and the aluminum one weighs 14 pounds. 19.5 pounds down, a bunch to go.

Oh yeah, don't forget about swapping in an aluminum core support.

There's always the driver diet approach. My car would be way lighter if I would have some discipline. Actually, come to think of it, I need a beer.
