If I got this turbo, it says its a 3 bolt exhaust housing. My question is, If I have a ATR 3 inch down pipe would I have to have something fabbed up to make it fit? I'm overseas right now but If I remember correctly the ATR downpipe has 3 bolts  TIA

What up dude...Ain't seen you on, didn't know you went overseas.

3 bolt housing refers to the bolts that go to the header flange, the DP side of the turbo is the same...and it's 4 bolts FYI.

What are looking into a 70 for?? You planning on buying injectors, stall, and a new intercooler also?? Someone had problems the other day trying to get their stock location aftermarket intercooler to work with a 70 because the housings so big the intercooler has to basically lean back to work.

hmm, I'm up to no good! SO the PTE stock location was having trouble hrmmm. I might just have to get a RJC intercooler, who knows. But come september imma be a daddy! THanks for the input colin. Hows Indy? or ohio..i forget which.

Wow you are really stepping up...New FM a 70, and a kid, most people slow down when the kid thing happens.

Don't throw out your intercooler just yet, you might be able to make it work, I'm just saying I remember someone saying they had some problems, but I think they ended up getting it to work...Tell you what though, if I was gonna spring for a 70, I think I'd spring for a FM.

Indiana's great, unemployment's great, having a good ol' time.

Yea, We'll see. I've got some money to spend. I need a trans, think i'm getting one from Brian. 60lb injectors and maybe a double pumper. This tax free money is racking up so I want to spend some on myself since come this fall I won't get to spend a whole lot on myself.

Sweet...are 60's big enough for a 70?? I don't know just curious.

Yea I just going to shoot for low 11s to High 10s they will support that, I just don't know about the fuel pump...how far will a walboro 340 hotwired go?

340 will go low 11's.

That is much more turbo then you need, if I were you I'd look at a 60 series turbo, like a 61 P-trim, a turbonetics 66-BB, something along those lines.

Are you gonna port your heads??

EDIT - Even a GT67, or a 45A would be much better suited for what you want then a 70.

a 70 will need way more injector than 60 pph.( I started with 72's and moved up to 83's with my 70) A lot mroe stall too. A te-45a may be a better match. I went 10.42 with one in 95 degree heat so it will still meet your et goals easy enough.

He's just getting the itch with all of us GA Buick guys stepping our combos up for this upcoming season.....

A 70 is a lotta turbo for a street car Larry......why not just go with the GT6152 with either the E or S cover? I'm going to feed mine with 60/65# Motrons and they should be plenty, even with the roller cam, ported heads, and such. You also don't need a lot of stall with the 61....my 3200 Pat's should be more than enough for mine. That's another option for you to look at.....

126 mph at around 80% d/c 3600+lb car.

Hey man! I've also been looking at the GT 6776...i think lol So many turbos I just want a strip high 10 sec car and a low 11 sec in street trim (alky) IS THIS TO MUCH TO ASK LOL!

A 67 would do it for sure.

I'd still stick with a something alittle smaller if it was me unless you ported the heads...My personal opinion is there's no point in going with any turbo bigger then a 61 with stock heads, ported heads is a whole new story.

67 with ported stockers and a good cam (assuming you have all the other supporting mods) will go easy mid-10's.
