A pic from Saturday.

Sway(wolfe)bar may be needed.

Nice lookin' twisted launch:D  You definitely need a sway bar! Get that thing to 60' in the low 1.4's and you could have a 9 second ride on your hands (it should at least be in the 10.0h's with that 134mph trap speed):)

I have the video of this pass, but do not know how to post it.
This was a pass where i launched the car and the shifter went back to 1 (transbrake), i quickly shifted back to 2 and this was the second time the wheels went up...........they came down and bounced up again for the 3rd time.
Too bad i did not bugger up on the shifter...........i like the pic though!

Sweet what did you run. Lets get this video hosted. ;)

Actually that was one of my slower passes 10.71@129.77.......1.707 60 foot.
I have my 10.61@133.06 on video as well.
My friend had a brain cramp and forgot to hit record for my 10.57@134.27 pass though.

JEEZUS!!!! I havent seen one all twisted up like that in a long while. Reminds me of Lance Wards old GN. Put a real sway bar in that monster and see how hard it is to steer with the fronts off the pavement.

I wish mine left like that. How much boost on the launch? Maybe that's my problem, leaving on 15 psi. Makes me wonder.. I went faster than 10.57 and never it left like that.

What's the 1/8th mile ET and MPH?

Hi guys, leaving the line at approx 15 lbs.
Best 8th mile was 105.30mph@6.920........with a 1.727 60 foot.
Have Picked up 30+mph between the 8th and 1/4!

Yes some rear suspension work is in order.......the rim made contact with the outer trim(and bent it) and the tire made contact with the upper inside wheel well.
This is with a heavy cargo spring and air bag at 45 psi installed on the passenger side.
Axle snubber and anti sway bar are now needed.

I will have to check my fuel/brake lines to make sure they are not bent up!

29 psi max with low timing.

Combo.........heads, cam,rockers,turbo,block,crank etc........LOL.:D

Another Picture!

Another pic..........transfered from my video tape to the computer and then cleaned up a bit with photoshop...........just learning that stuff!

Stock short block....has to be up there with the best of all time, doesn't it? :D

An idea, or two...or 3!

Ditch the plans for a snubber....
Put the stock springs back in, and add an HR bar.
Forget the airbags.

:D :D

Oh ya, one more: Buy some bigger injectors!!!

A couple other guys that i know of have 60 footed way better (1.4)and have run 10.0 with the stock shortblock...........i have one of them beat on mph and i am not sure on the other person.

I am VERY VERY Happy with what i have gotten out of this motor........6+ years of drag racing and street driving..........but i am on the lookout for a built shortblock to push the envelope further.
:)
