Hey guys, when I initially went to adjust my wastegate, I noticed it was setup a little differently than the typical pipe coupler routine. So in trying to adjust it, I turned the section of the arm that goes into the wastegate puck. Now I can't imagine this is GOOD for the car, but I was wondering if I could've hurt anything?? I ended up dropping the boost level. It's now kinda erratic when I'm at full boost. It used to be solid at 18 psi, maybe jumping to 19 psi on shifts. Now it seems to hover around 16 psi, and jump to 18 psi on the shifts. Thanks!

Thanks, I had found that picture before the adjustment, but for some reason my setup was a little different.
But using that picture, the length of arm on the right, going into the wastegate itself. Could turning that portion of the arm be bad for the wastegate or puck??? Just wondering, because I know I turned it a bit before I figured out what I was doing. Thx.

There is a diaphram and spring in there. That's what lets the boost pressure push the arm. They can tear or get old. You wouldn't have hurt the puck unless you bent the arm or something making it so it doesn't move smoothly and is hanging up when the actuator moves.
