TV balance hole $check ball ?

Is it the right thing to do as the GM TSB's say to enlarge the tv balance hole in the sep plate to .046-.055? Also to leave the exhaust check ball out as per the ATSG man? Thanx, Mark

Good stuff, but

leave the exhaust ck ball in. It's a fail safe just in case the cable should become disconnected or broke it will go full tv pressure and raise up the line pressure to keep the trans together. .

drill the balance hole. .054

and lose the ck ball for tv and the clip and the spring discard also.

Do as you read and to the letter.
