Does anyone know what the measurement is from the front of the TV cable bracket to throttle body pin. I installed an RJC throttle body and plenum and transmission does not shift quite right. I am thinking I need to modify the TV bracket. I have adjusted the cable but shifts are still not the same as with the stock TB.

According to those directions The RJC plenum and TB is off over a 1/4 of an inch. I would still like someone to get me a measurement from the stock TB and plenum. A measurement from the centerline of the TB shaft to the backside of the TV cable bracket would be great.

You want the TV cable bracket at a mounting point that will give you a pull out of the inner cable housing from the adjuster block of about 1/4" when the cable is adjusted to give correct shifting. Actually, any point that will give you range of adjustment with your adjuster block is OK.

The geometry part of it is totally separate of the adjuster block location.

Thanks Don!!! I have 1/4" out on the TV cable. Trans is not shifting right at part throttle, but shifts fine at full throttle. I am betting I have some clutch wear since trans was built in 1995. I think I will just go ahead an pull the trans this fall and get it freshened up.
