TV Repair shop recommendations?

Hey guys my 50" Panisonic LCD Projection TV took a crap about 3 months ago. Its out of warranty and about 4-5 years old. We already got a new replacement that is 10 times better but I was wondering if anyone knew anybody that repaired tv's (maybe on the side) that was good, honest and reasonably. Wanted to fix this tv and put it in our game room so we could have the UFC fights there instead of the living room. Any help would be appreciated. Also post any shops to stay away from. I am in Santee (San Diego area) but will travel for great service (around 30-60mins)Thanks

J/K, Vic, Gerald's screen name is "Gerald" and he is somewhere in Orange or L.A. County. He'll take good care of you. I don't know if he does tvs on the side or not, probably just standing upright.

Well we bought a new tv and all I could say is DAMB! The picture is freaky clear where they look like there are in the living room with you. But I dont care how he fixes it, sideways, upright, etc, just fix it right. I pm him if I could find his screen name, as in a post from him.

I have a 60" Mitsubishi for sale 8 years old that works good for sale cheap.I would like to up grade but need to off this one.$500.00 if anyone's interested.I will probably give jumpin Gerald ( jumps from one repair shop to another ) some business even though he broke my heart & cheated on me.Seriously he's the one to see for any electronics & a good deal.

The thing that usually goes wrong with LCDs is the lamp. I bet if you replace it you will be good. I was not so lucky, I replaced the lamp but did not have any luck, I dont know if it is the lamp ballast or the power supply. Anyone?

Power block is notorious for going bad. Stay away.
