Cheeseburger- What cars? I own one street car, and thats my 10sec T-type and its in a perfect bill of health. Lance Ward tuned it for me and it runs smooth as silk (I don't own any race cars). I have never had my car sputter at the track. Trying to keep the 200R4 in it is another story, but Billy Anderson is bringing my Turbo 400 to Bowling Green so those issues are history. Don't take what I said as a slam, because I am the first guy up at the fence when this car is going down the track with my camcorder. Hell I even bought the TWEAKED toy car thats sitting above my tv with the matching shirt to boot (to go further I bought my daughter a TWEAKED t shirt and my wife those G-string TWEAKED panties ). You couldn't get a bigger TWEAKED fan then me. Thats why I said I hope it works out for them this year.
If they need some assistance in the pits or burn out box I would be more than happy to do what evers possible to see this car rock ,even if its holding there drink until they get back.

Just to answer a few questions. Tweaked weighs about 2750-2800# in light trim. The turbo LC ran was a PT-90. It has since been upgraded to a PT-95. Other upgrades over the past few years include switching from DFI to the Fel-Pro Wide Band fuel management system, air-launched chute, 16v Battery system, and a complete rewiring of the carto name a few.

The problems in the past have been just what CC stated above. The car's first time on the track most years has ended up being @Bowling Green. There was even one year the car had never even been fired since rebuilding until we rolled into BG. I am a one man operation in the shop and my "crew" is strictly volunteers and good friends when I'm at the track. LC is over 680 miles away from where I am in Tenneessee so we try to make the most of it when we can get together. There is a lot of shaking down on a car at this power level and it takes time to sort out. The problem for the past several years has been the transmission not always shifting into high gear - that is the sputtering heard when it hit the rev limiter in 1st gear - hard to make a full pass in 1st gear.

Hope this answers some of the questions. I appreciate the continued support of this car even thought it hasn't fared too well at BG the past few times out. We plan on laying down some good numbers this year. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

In regards to your turbo I have never
heard of the PT-95 is this some kind of hybrid?
They make a 94 and a 96MM Large Frame.
How does it come up on boost????

Correction - The old turbo LC ran was a PT85. The new one is a PT-96 instead of a 95 - pretty bad when you can't remember what turbo your own car has! I would attach some pics of the car as well as the dyno graph but they are too big. Sorry!

Although a match race between Billy Anderson's BEAST and Tweaked will be fun and may even be possible ........

Billy has Tweaked covered.

Billy's car has already exceeded all of Tweaked's levels of performance and is STILL "TWEAKING"!!! Plenty of boost left!

Seriously - The race would be fun but .....

Maybe we can pull a plug wire or let the air out of one the tires to make it more competitive.

I think that would be killer fun and maybe the highlight of the whole event! Wasn't it a rush when Tweaked 2 went against Duttweiler at Bristol? These are the things that stay in memory forever. I remember what got me really turned on to the Buicks was when Tweaked was at Englishtown and the score was tied with Tweaked going against Deputy ( okay.... I don't remember all the Stangs since there are so many!) and Tweaked blasted right by to give the Buicks the crown. Will always remember that!

To all the comments above about how cool it is to see Tweaked and the other serious cars still running, I say, "Me too, me too!"

Those are the reasons I started to build a twin turbo car myself. Soon I hope to be out on the track so people can make fun of my car sputtering as well.

There was a video of Tweaked making about a half-track run at BG 2002 on the www.buickpower.com site for a long time. I used to watch that just to hear that thing shrieking when it spooled up...what a sound!

I hope to see Billy run some record numbers this year as well. That car has been an inspiration to me even though my own work falls far short of that standard.

Glad to hear of the continued interest in Tweaked. The positive comments are appreciated and the negatives are motivation.

We would like nothing more than to see who has the baddest single turbo V6 @ BG in 2004. If Billy A. is willing, then so am I. Like LC stated earlier, Billy does have us covered by a little, but if he's not on his game we'll drill his eyes out! We feel more prepared than ever to run some big numbers. If it don't run....we'll push it. So.........bring it on!!!

Not to hi-jack this thread, but just to add that Gallina's twin turbo 7 sec. GN will also be there for exhibition runs and testing, so we look forward to seeing some very FAST runs.

His car run a 207 cu. in. Stage block with 2 TE-60's and a TH-400.
Weight is about 3000#'s.

TWIN TURBO??? that is one of those fast spooling, pro cars..... outta my league!


Hey Will, I'm never on my game anymore,not enough seat time etc, we'll be working more than racing I'm sure, however, I plan on being at the 1/8 mile and about 150mph when you have it spooled up enough to leave!!!

I just changed my oil.....I'm ready.

You shouldn't fare to bad - I haven't been in the saddle for over
2 years. The car had been on jack stands for the same amount of time until just before we hit the dyno. And don't worry - I've got something special for that spool up!! I might even just take the tree with me when I leave! Thanks for reminding me to change my oil.

And bring that Banshee I've heard you have - I've got something for that too!

The Banshee gutted the cases when a rod broke during the first snowfall, lucky for you...I may get it together in time but I doubt it! I dont think that would be a fair race against Tweaked, surely you were'nt talking of trying me out on that tractor????(Raptor). You can take the tree with you if you like, I'll autograph it at the end of the track when you meet me there!!!!!!!!!
