My dad had some kind of electric motor that would keep the turbo spooled in his Kenworth that they were testing about 15 years ago. I dont think the company ever sold any.but he said it worked pretty good when shifting up hill or in the mountains. They took it off the truck when he sold it. I will have to ask him about it
