UCA bushing removal.

HRParts makes a neat removal tool for those bushings. They are a vendor on this site.
It might take you 3 mins tops for each bushing with the tool. You've already tried the other ways. It can be done without the tool, but it's a PITA.

Never tried this with the rear still in the car---If you can get to the bushing with a drill---drill some 3/8 holes through the rubber. It will take some rubber out and you can get the remaining chunk of rubber and steel sleeve out by hand. Should be able to destroy the tube and get it out. I suspect getting a new one in would be tricky.

Got the old ones out with the drill and beat method. Took a lot of time but made it out. Now putting the new ones in was just as bad. I got the passenger side in okay but the driver side will not go in all the way. I guess I will be looking to borrow or buy the tool. Thanks for the help

I will sell you the HRPartsNstuff Control Arm Bushing Tool (used for 2 removals and 1 insertion) and the HRPartsNstuff #0500 - GM Poly Rear Control Arm Bushings w/Grease fittings (2 for top Rearend, inserted in my Moser rear, removed without any use cuz I went with the Wolfe spherical UCAs) for a reasonable discount from the HRParts price, plus shipping from NorCal. I can't say what yet because their price list is down on their site right now and I can't remember what I paid.
