Under the Hood original color

Since the Engine is out. I would like to know the true color in the Bay area. Especially the Firewall.
For years I did it in Semi Gloss or Satin Black, but I have seen other cars that are Gloss Black.

Can someone confirm it`s true color please.

I Painted the Firewall Body Color and the rest Satin Black. Pics will start when I start my Stage II build coming soon to a Theatre near you...lol

Not in all cases. My car (I am the 3rd owner, personally knew the previous 2 owners and the history of the car) had a black firewall. The car was a very early 86 car (built in 85 I think). I thought it was odd because the blue 86 I had before had a blue firewall.
