The Bankrupcy bunch are IDIOTS for going through an Auction house like this.

If they Cherry picked the parts and put them on E-bay, they would easily get at least $200K more than they will by going this way.

Check out these:

Mustang "shells"

Can anyone provide a link for the complete story on this ?

I would bid on that mercedes or bmw if they had some pics...I am not to far from there

how come the cars don't have titles ????? :p I bet some of those shells had a $100k deposit on them

This is pretty wild

I wonder if you can get a salvage title if you bought a shell?

Might fall under somthing such as this?

If you build a motor vehicle, you must execute an "Affidavit of Facts" to present to the Title Office along with the bill of sale for purchased parts and a Certificate of Title for any motor vehicle used in the construction. Self-assembled vehicles must be inspected by the State Highway Patrol.

So id guess if you got the shell then bought a frame, you would have to present title from the frame?

Look at the '66 Goat shells, $1.25 each. Holy crap. Lots of money to be made on this auction.

Just got back from the inspection. WOW. I'm going to try and get some welding tables. Their dynojet was gone, which leads me to believe they didn't own it.
There was a lot of nice stuff. The overhead in this place would have bankrupt a small country and I'm not kidding.

I found a pallet of Painless kits for older Mudstains....which use the same fuse block as our cars.

Chip Foose must be PISSED.

On a sad note, seeing all of the pictures of kids on the tool boxes. I'm sure there were a couple of innocents that got fudged in the deal. Now daddy doesn't have a job because of some greedy, lazy bastards.

Oh well, I'll be at the auction on Thursday.

I called them today. I was told the auction is online only and it will not be at the site. I hate the idea of wiring money or sending certified funds unless im face to face looking at my purchace.

anyone know the bolt pattern on the Foose wheels? Could be ford or chevy w/ what they did.
