OK, been trying to gather info on converting over. Would someone mind posting what is needed to convert a Tbuick over to E85, or direct me to an updated link? I have been searching but it gets confusing. I am building a 4.1 stage II street car and running a stock ECM. I want to do this only once and do it correctly. Let's say 800hp max, it might be more like 550 but I want room to grow. What fuel pump, lines, tank, fuel filters, injectors and so on? Thanks for the info

There is a lot in this section but this thread has a bunch.

If we switched GN's here's what I'd do

TT Chip with a modded ECM for 120's or 160's (don't think huge high Z's are in our future yet unlike the Imports)
Racetronix - 120 lb/hr Low-Z Fuel Injector
If you go 120's you can run Meth Injection to lower the injector DC like I do.

Double Pumper (Reds or DIY Racetronix)

Twin DW301 Fuel Pumps (out February and blows Walbro away in flow and warranty)

-10 Feed Y split into each fuel rail

Magnafuel SS 25 micron filter, must use Stainless or Anodized fittings:frown:
MagnaFuel MP-7008 - MagnaFuel Fuel Filters - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I might have the stainless -10 rails by March but Anodized rails will work

Aeromotive Reg

-8 return (especially if you leave both pumps on)

The type of fuel lines is up for discussion, might want to talk to Magnafuel since they've been doing this for a long time.

You must have a Fuel Pressure cockpit gauge and consider the same for a wideband like the AEM so you're always on top of pressure and AF/R.

Forgot to add that Racetronix has the upgraded wiring kit for the twin pump setup, it's really a must. Maybe Jack will sell the DW pumps and make it THE kit when going twins with E85 etc.

Until these new DW / Aeromotive pumps are well tested we will continue to use Walbro pumps. There is still much we do not know about these pumps apart from their published flow specs and that they are made offshore.

I hear ya on waiting until it does well with thousands in service. FWIW DW already logged over 3.5k hours with E85 which is a good sign.

800 hp on E85 with stock ECM? You are a BRAVE GUY! You need to get a FAST EFI NOW! I know...it can and has been done but a lot of owners have not been so lucky! Call Cotton or Hartline tomorrow. Don't take a chance with your high HP & high $ motor with a stock ECM & a chip. Especially with E85. Be very careful.

 TT Stage2 running E85 with 160lbs injectors on a stock ecm. The car will go 8's this summer. E85 is really forgiving when it comes to tuning. Talk to Bob Bailey(TurboBob) about E85.
