I had my '87 Limited tested for emissions last week, and it failed. I knew the car had a gutted cat, so I ordered a new one online. According to UPS, it was delivered to the front porch yesterday at 12:11 pm. My wife always goes home for lunch at 1:00, and she said there was nothing there. I looked
everywhere, and asked around at a few neighbors houses to see if they had seen a truck, or accidentally received the package, but no luck. I called UPS about it, and they weren't much help at all, saying I'd have to contact the vendor about a refund or replacement. To me, that's bullsh*t... They
did their part. The screwup is on UPS, IMO.
This pisses me off even more because I get a free retest within 30 days, and I can't be wrapped up in some lost package paperwork for weeks... And I sure as Hell don't want to have to order and pay for another cat....
Anyone ever dealt with something like this?
