I bought the cheapest USB -> serial cable I could find at Dalco, IIRC it was $15.00. Works like a charm with everything so far including T-Link.

I don't know much about other systems, but I do know that the FAST system does come with a serial port comm cable. Now FAST does have a USB to Serial port converter cable, that works. I have also heard that some others work, that you can buy at places like Radio Shack and such forth, but in most cases there seems to be a problem with other brands. Most problems that people run into using USB to Serial port converters is the fact that Windows likes to assign it to a Com Port that the after market systems does not recognize, so you will have to go in and change the com port settings within your Windows Device Manager.
