has anyone used a autometer fp guage for reading alky pressure? im going to be running a smc kit on my syclone and some really lean air/fuel ratios, I fear if i loose alky pressure ill loose my motor at the same time. So has anyone had success using a in cab guage to monitor alky pressure? another question, the "spray on" light on the smc box, does this light come on when alky is actually spraying for sure, or just when power is sent to the pump? thanks for any info ...

The 'spray on' light is an indication of the hobb switch completing the circuit to the pump.

I have to idea what you could use for mearuring pump pressure. Something that would cause an indicator light to come on at the boost guage would be nice.

An electric gauge would be best, since a mechanical one would increase turn on time and introduce a fire hazard to the passenger area of the car

Cannot use the autometer guage for alky. The diaphram is not compatible.

I have pressure senders that are alky compatible.. 70.00

240 ohms resistance. Can be used with any electric pressure guage like oil for example...that uses a 240 ohm sender for zero and O hms for 100 psi.

As far as your SMC question..depends on what version kit you have. The latter ones with the FP guage on the feed line..those the spray lite comes on when the pressure switch completes the circuit. The early ones dont..

Oops my bad! I didn't know that. :(

Sorry, syclone507.

This is great news for the users of the new kits though!
