Here's an update. I purchased at Home Depot an air/oil separator and converted it into a catch can (not bad for $30). No more burning or oil in the intake. The engine does have blow by but feels strong at 17 psi. Taking it racing next week.
 
Yes catch cans, home made or other wise work very well. I purchased a catch can off of Ebay ( $70.00 )a year ago and it continues to work well.
 
Got the car to the track (see sig). Still using a very little bit of oil and blow by seems min. Car pulls hard in the big end...1/8 to 1/4 gain of 24.66 MPH.

I see you have some money wrap up in that new motor, but still no catch can.:rolleyes: LOL Once you see what comes out of one you'd never not have one on your car trust me:eek:

The runs full street trim, no tune, 2-3 shift 5000 rpm (5700 thru the traps), 89 & E85 mix with meth, and 18 psi! A 25.5 MPH gain from the 1/8 to 1/4. I think there's 2-3 MPH left in it with a ~5500 2-3 shift. Still sucking a bit of oil via PCV but its running well.
 
Were you seeing a lil smoke when you got into the boost??

No not reallly. Last time at the track I asked my buddy and he said no. I saw smoke at idle so I dropped the DP and saw oil seeping on the exhaust side after 20 min. I just replaced the turbo, drove it and zero oil usage so far.
