vac brake conversion question

converted mine over with rebuilt monte ss 9 inch dual dia. booster and master cyl. and break pedal.just wondering about break pedal feel.cars stops fine.i read alot about the breaks being grabby after the conversion. my pedal seems to be a little soft ,does not go to the floor.when car if off and you hit the pedal a few times,it gets somewhat hard but not rock hard.what do you guys think? is it ok?

Make sure there is no air in the brake system.

You may have a vacuum leak. Hard pedal feel is about the booster.
