Vac brake conversion quick easy question

I got my vac brake set up on the car, its been being kicked around in and out of boxes for almost 8 months waiting for me to put it on. When I went to put the master cylinder on, it looked like there was supposed to be a rod or something in between the vac booster and the MC??? I dont have one and dont want to button things up until I know if I need to make a trip to the junk yard

there should be a pin that goes there. If you kit didn't come with on them I'd either pull one from a junkyard or see if your vendoer or gbodyparts.com has the pin.

That Rod Is Exactly 2.375" Long,flat On One End, Rounded On The Master End.
