Vacuum brake pedal? Why?

Hey guys I did my vacuum brake swap yesterday, and had one question. What is the differents in the vacuum brake pedal and the PM brake pedal? I put them side by side yesterday and could not find any differents in the two?

I think there is supposed to be a hole in the vacuume one that allows for a rod to be bolted to it. Right in the center near the top.

what rod? I'm convinced that I could have use the PM pedal and not had to worry about the hassle of getting a vacuum pedal....

I believe the pin that the rod hooks onto is in a diffent spot.

The pushrod for the master cylinder attaches at a different spot...Changes the leverage of the pedal.
